Rubber-band hammers

Rubber-band hammers, or Rubber-band-powered hammers, are hammers (or sometimes axes) powered by a rubber band. They can be much more powerful than gravity hammers, with some being able to hit with a force over 50 grams. BETA was the first bot to use one successfully.
